OMG!  This assignment was way too much.  Chewing up Aleve like their candy!  Mentally exhausted!!!!

Final day of field experience.  Mostly observing as new material being covered during the periods.  Students made me feel really special as they told me they appreciated my help and would miss me.  I didn’t cry though.  Learned a lot.  Math was challenging but let me know that with preparation I could teach any subject.

I was observed this week by Dr. Hathcote.  I wasn’t nervous, but a little anxious.  She told me I did well.  I made a mistake on a math problem which the paraprofessional quickly pointed out.  It gave me the opportunity to let the students know that teachers make mistakes from time to time.  Especially new teacher.  Other than that, week went well.  Gonna miss the kids.  Only have 8 more hours to complete.  Thank you God!

Another good week.  Been eating lunch with the self contained class.  Knew some of them from Camp AllStars.  Resource room and self contained teachers have been great.  Make me feel a part of their team.  Things are good in inclusive but not as much love.  Been taking home a Geometry book to prep for the next day.  Feel like I’m back in High school myself.  But I’ve been able to assist the students when they need me.  Go Vicky!

Good week.  Assigned to Special Education Teacher in the Math Department at a Columbia County High School.  Went in extremely nervous about going to a high school but it was great.  Not crazy about the content area- Analytical Geometry but I have a good math background.  Been some years though.  I did get an opportunity this week to act as a the support teacher.
