Crisis Plan
Lock down (Terroristic Threat)
1. Classroom doors are to remain locked.
2. Place dark paper/cardboard over any glass area of the door.
3. All blinds are to be closed.
4. Students and teachers will remain in the classroom, No one is to leave the classroom. No exceptions.
5. Everyone will remain calm and quiet. There should be no talking. Lecture should be halted until given okay. Encourage silent reading.
6. All messages from administration will come to the teacher via e-mail.
7. Do not answer any knocks at door.
8. No one will be dismissed until lock down is lifted.
The following code system will be utilized:
CODE RED: STOP! Stay In Room/Shelter in Place
CODE YELLOW: CAUTION! Stay in School/Shelter in Place
CODE GREEN: GO! Evacuate school
CODE BLUE: LISTEN! Serious Situation
